Active Vacations: Hawaii

If you’re an active type, then you need a vacation destination that offers some thrills. One destination that couldn’t offer a bigger spectrum of activities for thrill seekers is Hawaii. It’s not all relaxing beaches and resort spas, Hawaii has a diverse terrain that provides plenty of activities to keep you entertained. From exciting surf, to long trails, you will find all your adventure seeker needs met here.
As for water activities, you can take surfing lessons in the best surfing location in the country, the North Shore. Or you can sail around the island, or rent a jet ski. You can even hike through the rigorous terrain of the lush mountains, or climb Diamond Head for a breathtaking view. There are lots of guided tours that can show you the best, hidden parts of the island, where waterfalls and hot springs can be found. There is also horseback riding and quad tours on a ranch on O’ahu, where you can head up to a beautiful view, and see where many movies and TV shows have been filmed, including Lost, Jurassic Park and others.
