Want to book a White Christmas?

When the weather turns cold and the snow begins to fall, this is when many people and families will start thinking about where they want to be for Christmas, or maybe for New Years day.  Those who don’t live in the snow will want to make plans to wake up on Christmas day to see a winter wonderland.

This is not a hard thing to do because there is snow found all over the world.  If you live in the states, you might go to Colorado, Utah, Wyoming or ever Main to play in the snow.  When was the last time you were part of a snowball fight?  Its not just for kids as adults too will build snowmen and ride a sled down the hillside.

If you will be in Europe and want to snowmobile the pristine wilderness trails or hear sleigh bells ringing, why not head north to Finland?  You can find many choices in Lapland holidays online for a day break or four nights and your kids can have their turn to talk with Santa.  Booking your white Christmas is easy when you know where to find the best deals for a magical day in the snow.

Winter Wonderlands

When you look at a picture of snow covered mountains with skiers enjoying the great outdoors, you might call it a winter wonderland which could cause you to learn more about this sport.  Learning to ski is like anything else, you have an instructor to show you the basics and then you practice, practice and practice some more.

Beginner skiers use the slopes that are create just for them and these are often called bunny-hills.   As new skiers get better at turning and stopping, they can move on to the advanced or intermediate slopes to hone their skills. When making plans to go skiing, you will find that just about every ski lodge will offer slopes for all levels.  This way kids and adults who are beginners and experts can all book at the same resort.

With so many ski resorts to choose from world wide, choosing one might be difficult.  If you did some searching online about resorts, you would discover Europe offers many world-class ski resorts.  You can choose to ski Italy, ski Austria, ski France and also ski in the country of Slovenia.  Par of skiing is to experience a new resorts in a different state or different country.

Accomplish nothing during your gorgeous holiday destination

Nothing beats a gorgeous holiday destination at the beach. It does not matter what beach as long as you are livng in luxury for the week. You can go an hour outside of London or clear across the globe. You just need to make sure that this is all about you for your yearly vacation. One of the best things about the beach is that you do not have to do anything. All you really need to do is soak up some sun on your cabana lounge. If you get thirsty, just call over the waiter to take your order. Now, this is the life.

If you get tired of tanning all day, then your beach better have some awesome shopping! You are ready to whip out your credit card for a shopping spree. You can stop for lunch at a darling new gourmet cafe. Then, why not grab some drinks while you are at it? This is a vacation at the beach after all. You can say goodbye to the ocean the night before by going for a midnight stroll. It has been a great week at a gorgeous holiday destination where you will leave tan and happy at what you accomplished- nothing!

Take a Break!

Take a Break!

Do not continue to drone on and on with monotonous everyday life, get out and explore all that the world has to offer! There are numerous ways to explore the world’s wonders while still doing it affordably. Through several different travel agencies and deal finders like Expedia, you can travel safe and affordably to pretty much any country around the world. There is no doubt that the opportunities are out there waiting on you, so it is time to get out of your chair and create new memories today. You don’t want to be looking back on life realizing that you sat inside watching people live their life rather than living your own.

The difficult part is honestly figuring out where you will have the best experience while doing what. You have a few options: either traveling to more common tourist countries like Spain, Italy, etc. or going somewhere more unknown like taking holidays to Tunisia or Egypt. The difference here is that the more common tourist countries might have more to see, but also will have much more actual tourists there trying to do the same thing you are. When traveling to a smaller country, you can sometimes experience the culture of that country on a deeper level while most likely saving money in the process.

So regardless of where you end up going, make sure that you do not forget to take time for yourself and your family to enjoy and embark on a new adventure together. Just make sure you are smart about it and plan accordingly beforehand.

Virgin Holidays- Rockstar Service

Posted on 24. Aug, 2010 by admin in Destinations, Travel Tips, USA

At Virgin Holidays, we believe amazing service should come as standard. That’s why Virgin Holiday’s magic touches are made available to all Virgin Holidays customers – not just the VIPs!

We realise that you want to make the most of being on holiday, so we came up with Check in, Chill out, so you can check in for your flight without leaving the beach…or bar.  Airports are a drag.  The holiday only really starts when you get to your destination.  And if you’ve got kids, then airports are living nightmares.  So, to perk up the airport experience, we came up with the VRoom. And when you’re on holiday, you want to make sure it’s as good as it can be.  That’s where Virgin Holidays’ Concierge service comes in – a concierge actually tuned in to the buzz of your destination, not a guy in a suit on kick backs from rip-off restaurants. This belief is what sets Virgin Holidays apart from the competition. That’s why we actually encourage our customers to ‘Ask For the World’.

But how do you express that exclusive treatment in a single thought.  What do Virgin Holidays offer that no-one else does?  We think it can be described as…

“ROCKSTAR SERVICE”

It’s a level of care you’d normally associate with the glamour and excitement of the entertainment elite.  Made available to every Virgin Holidays customer.

The Rockstar Service campaign is the latest creative expression of this belief. With Virgin Holidays, you can rest assured that you’ll get intuitive, imaginative typically brilliant twinkle-in-the-eye Virgin service, every single time you travel with us.
