Experience a Maldives Holiday

South-southwest of India, in the Indian Ocean is a country called Maldives.  It is composed of live coral reefs and coral islands as well as sand bars that cover an area roughly 90,000 square kilometers.  This island paradise offers all kinds of activities and the humidity here is relatively high.  The air is kept moving by the sea breezes and there are two seasons of weather here: the dry and the rainy season.

This area is often chosen as one of the most romantic holiday destinations because of its enchanting scenery and white sand beaches. Booking luxurious Maldives holidays is done by those who love adventure and water sports.  Sailing, snorkeling, jet skiing, water skiing, windsurfing and parasailing are everyday activities and so is basketball and beach volleyball.

Shopping is done at the Singapore Bazaar where local Maldivian products can be purchased as well as imported items. With a wide range of resorts and hotels, you will never be lacking in choices of accommodations. You will find well-furnished rooms at the hotels along with most of the common comforts to make your stay a memorable one.  Cost effective lodges and hotels are also available to suit any budget stay.

Take a Break!

Take a Break!

Do not continue to drone on and on with monotonous everyday life, get out and explore all that the world has to offer! There are numerous ways to explore the world’s wonders while still doing it affordably. Through several different travel agencies and deal finders like Expedia, you can travel safe and affordably to pretty much any country around the world. There is no doubt that the opportunities are out there waiting on you, so it is time to get out of your chair and create new memories today. You don’t want to be looking back on life realizing that you sat inside watching people live their life rather than living your own.

The difficult part is honestly figuring out where you will have the best experience while doing what. You have a few options: either traveling to more common tourist countries like Spain, Italy, etc. or going somewhere more unknown like taking holidays to Tunisia or Egypt. The difference here is that the more common tourist countries might have more to see, but also will have much more actual tourists there trying to do the same thing you are. When traveling to a smaller country, you can sometimes experience the culture of that country on a deeper level while most likely saving money in the process.

So regardless of where you end up going, make sure that you do not forget to take time for yourself and your family to enjoy and embark on a new adventure together. Just make sure you are smart about it and plan accordingly beforehand.

Virgin Holidays- Rockstar Service

Posted on 24. Aug, 2010 by admin in Destinations, Travel Tips, USA

At Virgin Holidays, we believe amazing service should come as standard. That’s why Virgin Holiday’s magic touches are made available to all Virgin Holidays customers – not just the VIPs!

We realise that you want to make the most of being on holiday, so we came up with Check in, Chill out, so you can check in for your flight without leaving the beach…or bar.  Airports are a drag.  The holiday only really starts when you get to your destination.  And if you’ve got kids, then airports are living nightmares.  So, to perk up the airport experience, we came up with the VRoom. And when you’re on holiday, you want to make sure it’s as good as it can be.  That’s where Virgin Holidays’ Concierge service comes in – a concierge actually tuned in to the buzz of your destination, not a guy in a suit on kick backs from rip-off restaurants. This belief is what sets Virgin Holidays apart from the competition. That’s why we actually encourage our customers to ‘Ask For the World’.

But how do you express that exclusive treatment in a single thought.  What do Virgin Holidays offer that no-one else does?  We think it can be described as…

“ROCKSTAR SERVICE”

It’s a level of care you’d normally associate with the glamour and excitement of the entertainment elite.  Made available to every Virgin Holidays customer.

The Rockstar Service campaign is the latest creative expression of this belief. With Virgin Holidays, you can rest assured that you’ll get intuitive, imaginative typically brilliant twinkle-in-the-eye Virgin service, every single time you travel with us.

Travel California: San Diego

San DiegoThere are plenty of things to keep you busy in this southern Californian city, whether you are on a family vacation or sharing a special occasion with friends. Known for its beaches, district of Old Town, and its food, here are a few things that you can do to get the full experience San Diego has to offer.

Balboa Park is a must see, with it’s Mexican architecture, restaurants and atmosphere. It is the jewel of San Diego, and has plenty to see. If you are visiting on a Tuesday, most museums in the area have free admittance, so check out the Museum of Man or one of the others near by. On weekends there is also live organ music playing on the huge, outdoor organ.

Taking a ride on the trolley is also an iconic San Diegean experience. It spans a good part of the city, and gives you a chance to see more than you could just on foot.

You should also visit the San Diego Zoo, to see its famous panda exhibit. There is lots to see in this park, with habitats for all your favourite animals, the most popular being the reptile house and the Monkey exhibit.
