Virgin Holidays- Rockstar Service
Posted on 24. Aug, 2010 by admin in Destinations, Travel Tips, USA
At Virgin Holidays, we believe amazing service should come as standard. That’s why Virgin Holiday’s magic touches are made available to all Virgin Holidays customers – not just the VIPs!
We realise that you want to make the most of being on holiday, so we came up with Check in, Chill out, so you can check in for your flight without leaving the beach…or bar. Airports are a drag. The holiday only really starts when you get to your destination. And if you’ve got kids, then airports are living nightmares. So, to perk up the airport experience, we came up with the VRoom. And when you’re on holiday, you want to make sure it’s as good as it can be. That’s where Virgin Holidays’ Concierge service comes in – a concierge actually tuned in to the buzz of your destination, not a guy in a suit on kick backs from rip-off restaurants. This belief is what sets Virgin Holidays apart from the competition. That’s why we actually encourage our customers to ‘Ask For the World’.
But how do you express that exclusive treatment in a single thought. What do Virgin Holidays offer that no-one else does? We think it can be described as…
“ROCKSTAR SERVICE”
It’s a level of care you’d normally associate with the glamour and excitement of the entertainment elite. Made available to every Virgin Holidays customer.
The Rockstar Service campaign is the latest creative expression of this belief. With Virgin Holidays, you can rest assured that you’ll get intuitive, imaginative typically brilliant twinkle-in-the-eye Virgin service, every single time you travel with us.
Space Center In Houston
Posted on 01. Dec, 2009 by admin in USA

If you have kids that are aspiring astronauts, or just like space, science or American history, the Space Center in Houston is a must see for you and your family. The Space Center is a legendary landmark that is a memorable experience for learning and fun.
But your kids won’t be the only ones entertained and busy. While children of all ages can learn about space and the exploration of space, and spend all their time in the Kids Space Place, you can get a behind the scenes look at the NASA tram tour. This shows the historic mission control, and space exploration programs such as the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions. Hanger X also has some astronaut training facilities you can take a look at, and you might even see a real astronaut there training.
There are plenty of hands on activities that are specifically for kids, and encourage them to learn more about science, space and the importance of exploration.
There is also an Astronaut Gallery which has educational information on missions, and real space suits on display. There is also a memorial for those who died on actual missions like Challenger, Apollo and Columbia.
Traveling: Dallas, Texas

Dallas is home to more than 1.4 million people, and is the ninth largest city in the United States. But they offer more than just oil and cotton, Dallas is the place to be if you’re looking to shop. It has, by far, the most shopping centers than anywhere else in the country.
Texas is also one of the most diverse states, with hispanic influences, which offers amazing dining options such as the famous Tex-Mex. Mexican food and BBQ are the most famous types of food, all offered at the Texas State Fair, which shouldn’t be missed. There are plenty of popular events going on in the city, such as big celebrations for Cinco de Mayo, parades and food specific festivals.
The city is also rich with art and nightlife. There are some famous jazz clubs, art galleries, and other clubs to keep you busy on your next visit.
Dallas is also home to many art schools, with such a diverse art community, it is no surprise. You’ll find many struggling artists and art students who are just starting out, or thriving in this city.
